Big weekend

We are getting ready to leave to meet the birthmother in person for the first time (she lives in another state). What do you wear that says nurturing, dedicated, wholesome, intelligent mother who feels comfortable in different cultural contexts and is financially secure but not in a showy or stuffy way?

    So exciting!! I think you should wear something that you really love. Don't worry about trying to portray anything. Everything about how nurturing, loving and open you and your husband are shines through in your adoption profile, and I'm sure it will shine through even more in person. Good luck!!

    Huge weekend! And I agree with the pp... wear something you feel comfortable in. That way you will feel comfortable to be yourself, and that's all she needs to see. Blessings on you!
