Profile approved

I finally got our profile in and it meets all their requirements. I thought I would be more excited about that, but with all the stress over it, I am just glad it is done. Next on our list is to figure out what other type of networking things we should do. Does anyone have any thoughts or experiences with the business cards? I can see how this would be great to give to people we know, but then it also seems a bit awkward to be handing out cards like this.

    Hooray for progress! I can't believe all that nonsense about formatting they made you go through. Glad it's approved and behind you so you can move on to the next step.

    PS I heard about a couple ( when we were considering adoption) who made t-shirts advertising their search for a child and gave them to all their friends and relatives to wear. Well one of them was wearing the t shirt in an airport and an expectant mother's mother saw the t shirt with the phone number and called it when she got home and that was a match for them! I know that's a bit more out there than business cards!!!
